Slimming

Slimming is mostly an important motivation to exercise more and eat healthier.

Unfortunately this isn’t as easy as it seems.

How do we gain this excess fat? By a shortage of exercising and an over consumption of calories.

The calories that we don’t use will be perceived as “too much” and will be saved as fat.

One of the most heard misunderstandings about the traditional diet, is that we will loose weight by eating less. Partly, this is true. But we won’t loose any or little fat, just fluid and muscle mass. When dieting, our body finds it easier to destroy water and muscles than fat.  During starving, a mechanism takes effect that will perceive our fat as a reserve and will protect it.

How do you begin?

A nutritional program in which proteins, carbohydrates and fats are balanced is a necessity!

The next step is a training program which contains cardio training and possibly power training. Our excess fats can only be burnt during this aerobic training in our muscles.

The power training is important to maintain muscle mass and possibly build more muscle mass.

Slimming is different for every individual. That is why there are different ways and different products that can lead to an optimal result.

Patience

Having patience is also a necessity. Our body took years to build these fat reserves. We can’t really expect to loose them in a couple of days or weeks. A healthy target is to loose about 5 to 6% of fat in 10 weeks.

Good luck!!
